KW Black Takes 3rd in Engineering Contest

he Minnesota State Engineering Center of Excellence held its 2019 Engineering Machine Design Contest on Friday, March 22, 2019.  This year’s theme was “Help a Superhero Save the Planet.”  This event was sponsored in part by the following:  Bolton & Menk, Inc., Carl and Verna Schmidt Foundation, the College of Science, Engineering & Technology, Minnesota State University, Mankato, and the Minnesota State Engineering Center of Excellence.  A total of 16 teams participated (eight at the junior division and eight at the senior division).  Kenyon-Wanamingo High School had two teams advised by Darin Walling compete in the senior high division.
